4 Day Safari – Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli

An excellent opportunity to combine a visit to Kenya’s largest parks, Tsavo East, West and Amboseli. Amboseli enjoys a spectacular backdrop – snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Tsavo West with a visit to Mzima Springs and an observation glass tank which you can see fishes, crocodiles and hippo`s and Tsavo East, home of the red elephants.

Day by Day

Day 1 – Watamu to Tsavo East National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00am. After breakfast we depart Watamu for Tsavo east , a drive of 3 hours; we will arrive at Tsavo East National Park by 10:30am.
We will enter the park and have a game drive until 13:00 when we arrive at the lodge or tented camp for lunch. Time for a little relaxation in the room or by the pool.

At 15:30 for the second game drive to explore the park until sunset. We return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West

Wake up early for a game drive and watch the sunrise, then head back to camp for breakfast before heading to Tsavo West National Park . A 2 hours’ drive. In the afternoon you’ll head out on game drive and visit the Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and Nile crocodiles and many different bird species.

You’ll return to Ngulia for dinner and spend your evening relaxing and watching the wildlife arrive at the watering hole overlooked by the lodge’s restaurant.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli

This day your breakfast is served very early in the morning before checking out with game viewing en-route to Amboseli National Park (about 60km away)via the Mzima Springs a Water Spring producing more than 95 million gallons of Water every day, chances of seeing Hippos, Crocodiles and fish through the observation glass tank.

Heading to the west of Amboseli, a seasonal lake attracts water-fowl, although most of the year it is merely a dry bed of soda. Soda where desert mirages dance across the surface. Sightings include: elephants, buffalo, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, zebra and baboons and the endangered black rhino.
Lunch at Safari lodge or camp, relax before the late afternoon game drive which is an ideal time to spot game, back to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Back to Watamu

Morning game drive before breakfast to see the morning sunrise over the Kilimanjaro,
Back to the lodge for breakfast after which a game drive is conducted as we make our way out of the park and our way back home arriving back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
